Description

You will define and implement end-to-end solution architecture for manufacturing analytics applications, owning development from backend services to cloud infrastructure.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Define architecture for OEE, downtime, throughput, and inventory solutions aligned with enterprise standards.
• Design data models and integration patterns for ingesting data from PLC/SCADA/MES systems, ERP, and historians.
• Implement backend services, APIs, and microservices using Python, plus minimal frontend dashboards.
• Build data pipelines to capture, clean, and transform time-series and transactional manufacturing data.
• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure-as-Code, and ensure application security and scalability.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of software engineering experience with a backend-heavy focus.
• Expert-level Python development using FastAPI, Flask, or Django.
• Deep experience with Azure cloud services including App Service, AKS, Functions, SQL/PostgreSQL, Cosmos DB, Event Hub, and IoT Hub.
• Proficiency in frontend frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue for dashboard development.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services as a secondary cloud platform.
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools like Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
• Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (ARM/Bicep/Terraform) and data engineering concepts.
• Ability to design scalable, secure, and resilient microservices architectures.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Azure Data Synapse pipelines and monitoring tools like Application Insights.
• Background in manufacturing analytics, OEE calculations, and shop-floor system integration.
• Familiarity with enterprise IT standards and cross-functional collaboration with data engineers.
