Description

You will develop and maintain software for automated machinery used in agricultural research, building interfaces and managing data pipelines.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Develop, debug, and enhance automated system software programs.
• Build web pages using Python and React to interface with automated machinery.
• Design relational databases, tables, and JSON APIs.
• Analyze test results and provide feedback during product design and specification.
• Provide seasonal second-shift support from 11am-8pm between February and May.

Required Skills

• 9+ years of professional experience in Python development.
• Proficiency in SQL query development and relational database design.
• Experience with JSON API development.
• Ability to pass an intense, video-recorded technical Python assessment.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a similar field.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Flask web apps and Socket I/O.
• Proficiency in React, jQuery, and Git source control.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and Agile development environments.
