Description

You will develop and maintain SAS analytics applications and Excel files to support insurance pricing solutions.

Responsibilities

• Develop new functionality for SAS analytics applications and generate supporting Excel files.
• Maintain existing applications by optimizing performance for large dataset computations.
• Manage end-to-end development cycles, including coding, testing, and debugging against acceptance criteria.
• Collaborate with Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and peer developers to build technical solutions.
• Create and maintain technical documentation while communicating project status to stakeholders.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of advanced SAS coding experience.
• Expertise in handling large datasets, including data manipulation, transformation, and joins.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with system architecture, technical standards, and layered software design.
• Deep debugging skills to identify and resolve SAS or Excel defects.
• Domain knowledge in personal lines insurance (property and auto pricing).
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent graduate level education.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with mainframe environments.
• Additional coding experience in Python, Node.js, SQL, or Power BI.
