Description

You will own network automation and configuration management using Python and Ansible.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Develop Python scripts to configure network elements.
• Create Ansible playbooks for SRL, Nokia SR OS, Cisco IOS XR, Arista EOS, and Cumulus Linux.
• Build YANG trees using pyang and manage XML, YML, and JSON data encoding.
• Collect configuration data via NETCONF, YANG, and RESTCONF.
• Automate data collection from network elements using Bash over SSH.

Required Skills

• 2+ years of experience in network automation roles.
• Proficiency with Python and Ansible.
• Experience with YANG, OpenConfig, and pyang.
• Hands-on with NETCONF and RESTCONF protocols.
• Ability to create virtual topologies and work with KVM/IP routing in Linux.
• Experience with Git and GitHub repositories.
• Skill in Docker container building.
• Ability to parse JSON data in Bash and prepare BGP configurations in OpenConfig YANG.
• Experience managing XML, YML, and JSON data serialization.

Preferred Skills

• ANY GRADUATE education.
• Experience with Bash scripting for network tasks.
