Description

You will refactor backend architecture and manage data labeling integrations.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Refactor backend uploader classes into a single, efficient structure.
• Update API endpoints to be resource-based for scalable data handling.
• Manage LabelBox integration and transition to new custom UI approaches.
• Extend Airflow DAGs to export labeling data in multiple formats.
• Monitor and extend Datadog dashboards and alerts to maintain service SLAs.

Required Skills

• Advanced proficiency in Python for writing clean, maintainable code.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and Presto for database querying and optimization.
• Experience developing web applications using Flask or equivalent frameworks.
• Proficiency in managing workflows using Apache Airflow or equivalent.
• Experience setting up monitoring and alerting with Datadog, PagerDuty, or equivalent.
• Proficiency in Bash scripting for automation and system management.
• Ability to track, report, and communicate technical bugs to external vendors.
• Experience gathering technical feedback from internal stakeholders.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with 1+ years in backend engineering roles.
• Any graduate degree in Computer Science or related field.
