Description

Lead the technical implementation and architecture of distributed computing solutions.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and support a custom AWS native solution for distributed computing.
• Design and develop the distribution API for internal Financial Engineering use.
• Engage with internal teams to understand goals and design features to meet their needs.
• Lead the team's implementation of new features and develop/review new code.
• Improve product test automation and deployment practices, and provide production support.

Required Skills

• 8+ years experience developing production software.
• Strong Python skills with 2+ years writing production code.
• Proficiency with PySpark.
• At least 1 year experience with AWS services: EC2 (Spot Fleet), S3, SQS, Lambda, DynamoDB, and API Gateway.
• Experience writing automated unit, integration, regression, performance, and acceptance tests.

Preferred Skills

• Any Graduate degree or equivalent experience.
