Description

You will design and develop automated test scripts to support application testing across complex development environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, unit test, and debug automated test cases based on manual test cases and functional requirements.
• Analyze test coverage to determine which manual processes should be automated for reuse.
• Document test results and facilitate review meetings with project team stakeholders.
• Identify automation opportunities early in the test life cycle to improve efficiency.
• Manage your own workflow within JIRA by creating and assigning your own tickets in an Agile environment.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in test automation.
• Strong experience using TestRail for test case management and creation.
• Proficiency with JIRA within an Agile framework.
• Ability to work independently to manage tasks and ticket lifecycles without direct PM assignment.
• Experience performing analysis of manual test cases to build automated suites.
• Proven ability to handle high-complexity projects and multiple applications.
• Experience acting as a subject matter expert in test case automation.

Preferred Skills

• Experience leading projects or working as a team lead in a testing capacity.
