Description

Design and implement scalable backend services and RESTful APIs using FastAPI.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Architect and maintain microservices and distributed systems.
• Design and optimize SQL and NoSQL database schemas.
• Implement caching strategies and performance tuning for high-throughput APIs.
• Integrate AWS cloud services and enforce security best practices.
• Collaborate with frontend, DevOps, and QA teams to ensure seamless delivery.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional Python development experience.
• Strong expertise with FastAPI and building RESTful APIs.
• Solid understanding of system design fundamentals and microservices architecture.
• Deep SQL expertise, specifically with PostgreSQL and MySQL.
• Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services.
• Proficient with Git and code review practices.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes containerization.
• Familiarity with Redis or other caching systems.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and async processing.
