Description

You will design, develop, and optimize backend services, APIs, and AI-driven data orchestration pipelines.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain scalable microservices and RESTful APIs using Python and FastAPI.
• Architect MongoDB collection schemas and optimize NoSQL data structures for performance.
• Implement and deploy AI models using Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and vector databases.
• Build scalable solutions using message queues and stream-processing platforms like Apache Kafka.
• Integrate AI components into e-commerce and retail data pipelines.

Required Skills

• 3–6 years of Python programming experience with deep knowledge of FastAPI and asyncio.
• Expert-level experience with MongoDB, including schema design, indexing, and query optimization.
• Proficiency with SQL databases such as PostgreSQL and MySQL.
• Hands-on experience implementing RAG methodologies and vector databases like Pinecone.
• Experience with PyTorch and Hugging Face Transformers.
• Competency with Python libraries including Beanie, SQLAlchemy, Pydantic, Pandas, and Celery.
• Working knowledge of Git and CI/CD best practices.
• Experience managing data access layers using ODMs and ORMs.

Preferred Skills

• Background in the e-commerce domain.
• Familiarity with Model Context Protocol (MCP).
