Description

Develop a platform for running forecasting algorithms and expert systems to predict customer demand.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Write and maintain solution code using modern C++ and Python.
• Own the full software development life cycle, including analysis, architectural design, programming, and maintenance.
• Collaborate with data scientists to build the forecasting platform.
• Discuss and validate functional requirements with product managers.
• Maintain and support developments based on customer feedback.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong proficiency in Python, specifically using numpy, pandas, fastapi, and asyncio.
• Good knowledge and experience with modern C++.
• Excellent knowledge of object-oriented programming (OOP) and design patterns.
• Basic understanding of Docker.
• Strong mathematical and statistical mindset.
• Ability to manage computational complexity and optimize hardware resource usage.

Preferred Skills

• Practical experience applying time series forecasting algorithms.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Azure DevOps, or Azure Cloud.
• Experience with TensorFlow or PyTorch.
