Responsibilities

• Design and develop backend services and data pipelines using Python and PySpark.
• Architect and implement scalable APIs and microservices for critical applications.
• Optimize PostgreSQL data models and queries for performance.
• Collaborate with data engineers and DevOps on system robustness.
• Lead technical design discussions and support production tuning.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of professional software development experience in backend systems.
• Expert proficiency in Python and PySpark for data processing.
• Strong understanding of backend architecture and distributed systems.
• Experience with PostgreSQL or other relational databases.
• Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
• Proficiency in microservices and API design.

Preferred Skills

• Experience leading technical design discussions.
