Description

You will build microservices for a data-oriented modernization project using Python and PySpark.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Develop microservices using Python, PySpark, AWS EKS, and AWS Postgres.
• Perform system and data analysis on legacy systems to define technical and functional requirements.
• Create data mappings by analyzing business requirement documents (BRS).
• Write automated tests using Behave/Cucumber within a microservices architecture.
• Optimize code for performance tuning and scalability.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience with Python and PySpark.
• Hands-on experience with AWS Postgres DB and AWS EKS.
• Proficiency in Cucumber for automation testing.
• Experience with Jenkins, SonarQube, and Fortify for DevOps and container-based deployments.
• Strong knowledge of Docker and containerization.
• Ability to analyze current systems involving Informatica, SAS, AutoSys, and DB2.
• Experience with technical documentation and business requirement analysis.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Snowflake, AMQs, Java, and Spring Boot.
• Background in reporting applications development and data analysis.
