Description

You will develop and maintain IT solutions using Python, applying software development best practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop, program, and code Information Technology solutions using Python.
• Document systems, conduct unit tests, and perform peer code reviews on internally developed applications.
• Evaluate and perform performance testing on purchased products.
• Implement IT Controls to protect the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of application data.
• Process batch files and develop scheduling for batch processes using Python.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional experience in technical design and coding within the IT industry.
• Demonstrated experience with Python programming and required libraries.
• Demonstrated experience working with REST APIs using Python.
• 3+ years of experience with R and SQL/Stored Procedures.
• In-depth understanding of the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Proficiency with SQL, DB2, and SQL Server database systems.
• Experience applying unit testing, release procedures, and change management protocols.
• Understanding of RESTful Architecture style.
