Description

You will develop, code, and maintain IT solutions using Python and R, while managing the full lifecycle from design to release.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain applications using Python and R, including batch processing and scheduling.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs and integrate with SQL, DB2, Netezza, or SQL Server databases.
• Conduct unit testing, peer code reviews, and performance testing to ensure application integrity.
• Document system designs, coding standards, and change management procedures.
• Evaluate libraries and tools to meet business and technical requirements.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of professional experience with technical design and coding in the IT industry.
• Proficiency in Python and R programming, including required libraries.
• Strong experience with SQL, stored procedures, and database knowledge (SQL, DB2, Netezza, or SQL Server).
• Demonstrated experience building RESTful APIs and processing batch files in Python.
• Understanding of the systems development life cycle, unit testing, and release procedures.
• Ability to evaluate alternatives and present solutions aligned with business objectives.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with flowcharting tools such as Visio.
• Familiarity with MS Suite and standard desktop applications.
