Description

You will develop and maintain IT solutions using Python and R, owning the full development lifecycle from design to release.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Write, test, and document code for internal applications and purchased products using Python and R.
• Implement IT controls to ensure application confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
• Design and manage batch file processing and scheduling workflows.
• Conduct unit testing, peer code reviews, and performance evaluations.
• Evaluate third-party libraries and technical alternatives to meet business requirements.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of professional experience with Python and R programming.
• Strong proficiency in SQL, including DB2, Netezza, or SQL Server.
• Demonstrated experience developing and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Experience with unit testing frameworks and release procedures.
• Familiarity with change management and systems development life cycle (SDLC) protocols.
• Ability to create technical documentation and flowcharts using tools like Visio.
• Proficiency with standard desktop applications (MS Suite).

Preferred Skills

• Experience with batch processing automation and scheduling.
• Knowledge of technical design patterns and coding standards.
