Description

You will develop and maintain IT solutions using Python and R, owning the full development lifecycle from design to release.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and code applications using Python and R, ensuring adherence to coding design and documentation protocols.
• Write unit tests, conduct peer code reviews, and maintain internally developed applications.
• Implement IT controls to protect the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of application data.
• Evaluate and test purchased products, including performance testing and library selection based on technical requirements.
• Manage change control procedures and document system designs and batch process scheduling.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional experience in technical design and coding within the IT industry.
• Strong proficiency in Python and R programming, including required libraries.
• Demonstrated experience working with RESTful APIs and REST architecture style.
• Experience processing batch files and developing scheduling for batch processes using Python.
• Database knowledge in SQL, DB2/Netezza, or SQL Server.
• Ability to take a methodical approach to evaluating alternatives and presenting solutions aligned with business objectives.
• Proficiency with standard desktop applications and flowcharting tools such as Visio.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with stored procedures and complex SQL queries.
