Description

You will own production support and monitoring for Big Data workloads, ensuring system stability and resolving incidents.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Monitor Spark jobs and system health continuously to maintain stability.
• Troubleshoot production issues by analyzing Spark logs and using monitoring tools like Dynatrace.
• Resolve production incidents following established SOPs.
• Develop small automation scripts to assist with support tasks.
• Communicate technical problem statements clearly in client-facing scenarios.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of experience in production support or data engineering roles.
• Hands-on experience with Python and Scala.
• Proficiency with Big Data technologies including Hadoop and Spark.
• Strong SQL skills for data querying and analysis.
• Experience monitoring Spark job execution and system performance.
• Ability to debug code and interpret complex logs.
• Any Graduate degree.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Postgres.
• Experience using Dynatrace for system monitoring.
