Description

You will design and execute test plans, scenarios, and scripts to validate system modifications and software releases. You own the defect lifecycle, documenting issues, tracking resolutions, and maintaining databases of known defects. You plan test strategies aligned with project scope and delivery dates, ensuring database impacts, usability, and functional correctness are thoroughly verified.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design test plans, scenarios, and scripts to address database impacts and software usability.
• Test system modifications prior to implementation and monitor bug resolution efforts.
• Document software defects using a bug tracking system and report findings to developers.
• Identify, analyze, and document problems with program function, output, or content.
• Plan test schedules and strategies in accordance with project scope and delivery dates.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in QA analysis and test planning.
• Proficiency in JavaScript and Microsoft Visual Basic for testing tools and automation.
• Experience with Linux environments and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP).
• Knowledge of computer development software, hardware, and electronic equipment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for reporting defects and collaborating with developers.
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and provide basic mentoring.
• Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.

• Experience with precision technical plans, blueprints, and design principles.
