Description

Overview

  • Our banking client is hiring two QA Analysts to support front office trading applications within a financial services environment. This role is highly technical and requires a strong blend of test automation, Python development, and deep domain knowledge in fixed income trading workflows.
  • You will be working directly with front office users, developers, and QA teams to ensure the stability and accuracy of critical trading systems.


Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts for front office trading platforms
  • Validate functionality across systems such as:
    • Trading platforms
    • Order management systems (OMS)
    • Market data feeds
  • Perform:
    • Functional testing
    • Regression testing
    • Integration testing
  • Analyze test results, identify defects, and partner with development teams to resolve issues
  • Ensure testing aligns with business workflows and regulatory/compliance requirements
  • Document test plans, test data, and results for audit and reporting purposes
  • Collaborate closely with front office stakeholders to prioritize testing needs


Required Skills & Experience

  • 5+ years of experience with test automation frameworks (Selenium, TestNG, or similar)
  • Strong programming/scripting skills in:
    • Python (required)
    • Java or JavaScript (nice to have)
  • Solid understanding of:
    • Trading workflows
    • Fixed income instruments (swaps, derivatives)
    • Market data systems
  • Experience working in front office environments (trading-facing technology)
  • Familiarity with:
    • Agile development methodologies
    • CI/CD tools and pipelines
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills


Interview Process will include a 1-hour live coding/technical assessment

  • Has worked directly with front office trading systems
  • Understands fixed income products deeply (not surface-level)
  • Is comfortable coding in Python in a live setting
  • Can bridge the gap between business users and technical teams
