QA Analyst

You will lead testing activities for large-scale system modernization projects including ISDS, MMIS, and METS. You own the QA lifecycle from strategy definition through defect closure.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain QA test strategies, plans, cases, and defect documentation.
• Develop requirements traceability matrices to ensure full coverage of functional and technical requirements.
• Define testable requirements for Waterfall projects and write user stories with acceptance criteria for Agile workflows.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, DBAs, and architects to validate design documents against requirements.
• Estimate Level of Effort (LOE) for all testing activities within assigned projects.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance within large, complex systems development projects.
• Experience working with MMIS, MNIT, and MNsure environments.
• Proficiency in both Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in high-ambiguity environments.
• Strong documentation skills for status reports, change requests, and process mapping.
• Experience interfacing with cross-functional stakeholders, including project directors and system architects.
