Description

You will own functional and manual testing to ensure software quality across releases.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Analyse business and system requirements to create detailed test scenarios and cases.
• Perform functional, regression, smoke, sanity, and system testing for web and backend applications.
• Ensure end-to-end test coverage including positive, negative, and edge-case scenarios.
• Validate data accuracy using SQL database queries.
• Participate in release validation and provide go/no-go quality sign-offs.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Manual or Functional Testing.
• Strong knowledge of SDLC, STLC, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Proficiency in SQL for database validation.
• Hands-on experience with test management and defect tracking tools.
• Familiarity with test automation concepts using Java, Selenium, or Playwright.
• Experience participating in Agile ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Standups, Retrospectives).
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and automated regression execution.
• Basic understanding of Selenium, API automation, or Playwright frameworks.
