You will manage testing procedures to ensure IT systems, products, and services meet established standards and requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct testing to ensure software meets minimum functional and security requirements.
  • Collaborate with application development, operations, and security teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Administer change control processes to maintain zero-defect software development.
  • Document testing data, findings, and reports in a centralized database.
  • Perform workflow analysis to recommend quality improvements and new QA practices.

Required Skills

  • 5+ years of experience in QA testing and reporting procedures.
  • Proficiency using JIRA for task and defect tracking.
  • Experience writing detailed test cases.
  • Thorough knowledge of business systems and applications development lifecycles.
  • Strong understanding of operations, technical support, and security practices.
  • Ability to identify problems and develop creative technical solutions.
  • Knowledge of applicable federal, state, and local rules, regulations, and statutes.
  • Effective communication skills for reporting and cross-team collaboration.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience developing QA training curriculum and manuals.
