Description

You will own the quality assurance for data pipelines, ETL processes, and Power BI solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Define and implement QA strategies and test plans for data pipelines and Power BI solutions.
  • Validate data integrity and accuracy by writing and executing complex SQL queries against source systems and data warehouses.
  • Perform functional, regression, and performance testing on Power BI reports, checking DAX calculations and data accuracy.
  • Test ETL processes to ensure data quality and compliance across all transformation layers.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive test cases, scripts, and artifacts while tracking defects in JIRA.

Required Skills

  • 5+ years of experience in a QA role.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL for data validation.
  • Hands-on experience testing Power BI reports, including Power Query and DAX calculations.
  • Solid understanding of ETL processes, data warehousing concepts, and relational databases.
  • Experience working within Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Excellent analytical and root cause analysis (RCA) skills.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms, specifically AWS or Azure.
  • Strong communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
