Description

You will own the full testing lifecycle for web and client-server applications in both Waterfall and Agile/Scrum environments.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute detailed test strategies, plans, and cases for manual, automated, and performance testing.
• Conduct manual and automated QA testing to evaluate product integrity and verify software and business requirements.
• Identify, document, and track defects; provide mitigation strategies and gather supporting evidence.
• Create and communicate test metrics, reports, and quality risks to stakeholders and management.
• Manage the test lifecycle and coordinate testing activities across cross-functional teams.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance and Quality Control.
• Strong knowledge of SDLC and STLC processes in both Waterfall and Agile environments.
• Proficiency in HP Quality Center/ALM and Team Foundation Server (TFS) for test management.
• Experience with test coordination and working with manual, automation, and performance testing tools.
• Strong understanding of Oracle database concepts and SQL/database testing.
• Proficiency in testing web and client-server applications in Windows-based environments.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel for metrics and reporting.
• Ability to clearly articulate technical details with strong written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Hands-on experience with automation tools such as HP QTP and Selenium.
