Description

You will design and maintain automation frameworks to ensure scalable test coverage for backend and API services.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop automation frameworks using Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, and BDD methodologies.
• Create and execute API test scripts using Postman, RestAssured, and Karate to validate REST services.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Azure DevOps, and Git for continuous delivery.
• Perform backend validation using SQL and analyze test results to identify defects and ensure quality standards.
• Collaborate with development and QA teams to troubleshoot issues and improve test efficiency in Agile environments.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in QA automation and API testing.
• Strong hands-on expertise in Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, and automation framework design (BDD, POM).
• Proven experience in API testing (REST, JSON/XML) using tools like RestAssured or Karate.
• Experience integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Azure DevOps, and Git.
• Proficiency in SQL for backend validation and defect analysis.
• Familiarity with test management tools like Jira.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
