Description

Own quality for frontend and backend applications as a hands-on SDET within a global QA team.

Build and maintain test harnesses, infrastructure, and end-to-end automation for distributed systems. Implement QA processes throughout the SDLC, including requirements analysis, test design, and automation. Collaborate with developers, business stakeholders, and external vendors to define testing approaches at scale. Own the quality and timeliness of software delivery through frequent, incremental testing and deployment. Communicate technical issues and progress updates to technical leaders and global stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain test harnesses and end-to-end automation for distributed systems.
• Implement QA processes including requirements analysis, test design, and automation within the SDLC.
• Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to define scalable testing approaches.
• Ensure quality and timeliness of software delivery through incremental testing and deployment.
• Communicate technical issues and progress to technical leaders and global stakeholders.

Required Skills

• 3-4 years of hands-on QA automation experience using Java.
• Experience developing test automation for web applications using Cypress, Selenium, or BDD Cucumber.
• Experience developing backend test automation using Rest Assured.
• Strong proficiency in core Java and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts.
• Practical experience working within Agile methodologies, including Scrum, TDD, CI, and CD.
• Solid understanding of database concepts and relational database testing.
• Expertise in various test types: client/server, white-box, black-box, functional, integration, and regression.

Preferred Skills

• Master’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
• Knowledge of Protractor, TypeScript, or Python.
