Description

You will define and drive the overall test architecture, frameworks, and best practices for mobile application quality assurance.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Define and own the test automation architecture for mobile apps (Android & iOS) ensuring scalability and maintainability.
• Design and guide the implementation of automation frameworks using Appium, WebDriver IO, Mocha/Jest, and Chai.
• Collaborate with development, DevOps, and QA teams to embed test automation within CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins).
• Establish best practices, coding standards, and guidelines for automation scripts and test frameworks.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to QA engineers building high-quality automated test suites.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of experience in Quality Engineering/Assurance, including 4+ years in an architecture or senior technical leadership role.
• Strong programming skills in TypeScript, Core Java, or Python.
• Hands-on experience with Appium and WebDriver IO for mobile automation.
• Expertise building and maintaining mobile automation frameworks for Android and iOS.
• Experience integrating automated tests in Jenkins Pipelines for continuous testing.
• Hands-on experience running automated tests on BrowserStack or similar cloud device testing platforms.
• Familiarity with Android Studio and XCUITest/Xcode for native app debugging.
• Strong knowledge of test design patterns, BDD/TDD approaches, and CI/CD best practices.
• Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
