Requirements

Design and implement comprehensive Test Automation strategies, ensuring robust testing frameworks and methodologies with existing toolset as well as research, evaluation, and deployment of new test tools.
Develop and maintain scalable and reusable test automation frameworks that align with project requirements and best practices.
Strong programming skills in languages commonly used for test automation (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript).
Proficiency with automation tools and frameworks such as .
Extensive experience creating test frameworks for large-scale distributed systems.
Hands on experience of agile testing methodologies and the ability to adapt testing strategies to agile development environments.

Hands-on experience integrating test automation into CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI) and version control systems (e.g., Git).

Demonstrated experience in testing cloud-hosted applications, especially SaaS models, with a strong understanding of scalability, security, and performance challenges.
Define and implement QA strategies, methodologies, and best practices for manual and automated testing.
Work closely with stakeholders, development teams, QA engineers, and product managers to integrate automated testing into the software development lifecycle (SDLC).

Desired Skills & Experience:

More than years of experience in software quality assurance, with Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
7+ years of experience in test automation using Selenium, Appium, Cucumber, Rest Assured, WebdriverIO, Cypress, TestNG, Junit, Mocha).
Ability to implement continuous integration and build automation systems, such as Jenkins, Bamboo, Octopus, etc.
Hands-on experience with test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail) and defect tracking systems.
Experience with BDD tools like Cucumber andAPI testing techniques and tools.
Experience in relational databases, such as Oracle/ SQL server and no-SQL databases, such as Couchbase/ Neo4J
Familiarity with quality engineering principles, including shift left testing, continuous testing, and in sprint test automation.
Experience in performance and load testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner).
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
