Description

You will own test planning, execution, and quality assurance for software release sprints in an agile Scrum environment.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Write and execute test cases, create detailed test plans, and manage requirements traceability.
• Log, categorize, and prioritize defects using Jira, ensuring clear records throughout the SDLC.
• Coordinate UAT schedules, develop UAT test plans based on business requirements, and report progress to stakeholders.
• Perform unit, integration, regression, smoke, system, stress, and performance testing.
• Participate in test readiness reviews and provide go/no-go recommendations for releases.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in software quality assurance and the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
• Proficiency in defect tracking and project management tools, specifically Jira and SharePoint.
• Experience with API testing using Postman, SOAPUI, or JMeter.
• Ability to write SQL queries for CURD operations.
• Hands-on experience with UFT for QA automation testing and scripting.
• Knowledge of creating and reviewing performance testing scripts and results.
• Understanding of code coverage tools and systems analysis.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).
• Experience working with Xray Test Case management tool.
