Description

You will own the architectural direction and execution of quality assurance for core insurance applications.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end QA efforts across insurance projects, including test planning, execution, defect management, and reporting.
• Define and implement test strategies, plans, and cases for functional, integration, system, and regression testing.
• Collaborate with teams to define test coverage based on business requirements and advocate for shift-left testing.
• Manage and mentor QA team members, assigning tasks and ensuring quality delivery.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of QA/testing experience, with 2+ years in a QA Architect role.
• Mandatory deep domain experience in Property and Casualty insurance systems.
• Proficiency in manual and automated testing practices, specifically with Playwright.
• Hands-on experience with test management tools including Jira, Zephyr, TestRail, or ALM.
• Strong knowledge of SDLC, STLC, Agile, and Scrum methodologies.
• Experience testing insurance platforms like policy administration, claims, or underwriting.
• Ability to collaborate with automation engineers on API and UI test suites.
