Description

You will design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks for microservices and event-driven architectures.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop API automation for REST APIs, microservices, and event-driven systems using Kafka and SQS.
• Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines via GitHub Actions, enforcing quality gates and smoke/regression tests.
• Test end-to-end AWS component behavior, verifying events, triggers, data flows, and integrations.
• Implement in-sprint automation, collaborating with developers and product teams to automate test cases within the sprint.
• Produce clear test documentation, automation architecture diagrams, dashboards, and reports.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of professional experience in QA Automation.
• Expertise with automation frameworks: Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, and WebdriverIO.
• Experience developing API automation for REST APIs and microservices.
• Familiarity with event-driven architectures, specifically Kafka and SQS.
• Proficiency integrating tests into CI/CD workflows using GitHub Actions.
• Experience leveraging AI tools like Cursor AI and GitHub Copilot to accelerate development.
• Knowledge of modern practices: contract testing, component testing, and visual diff testing.
• Ability to participate in story grooming and design reviews to ensure testability.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with AWS components and cloud-native testing strategies.
