Description

Design and govern scalable test automation frameworks for web, mobile, API, and performance testing.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and prescribe tools across web, mobile, API, and data domains.
• Architect modular automation frameworks supporting UI, API, contract, and performance testing.
• Build reusable libraries for HTTP clients, auth handlers, data builders, and parallelization.
• Integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines with pull request gates and quality dashboards.
• Partner with SRE/Platform on ephemeral test environments and containerized runners.

Required Skills

• 20+ years of experience designing large-scale test automation frameworks and libraries.
• Expertise in one or more core languages: UFT, Java, C#, JavaScript/TypeScript, or Python.
• Proven experience with web UI automation (Playwright, WebDriver/Selenium).
• Strong API testing skills including REST/GraphQL and contract testing (Pact, Stoplight).
• Performance testing experience with k6, Gatling, or JMeter.
• Hands-on CI/CD integration with GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or GitLab CI.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure/AWS/GCP), Docker, and Kubernetes.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with design patterns (Page Object, Screenplay, Component Object, Builder, Strategy).
• Experience establishing coding standards and conducting code reviews for test code.
• Solid understanding of test data management and observability (logs, metrics, traces).
