Description

You will own the test automation strategy and execution for web services and applications. You design test plans, build automation suites, and ensure quality artifacts for release cycles.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop automated test scripts and scenarios based on product requirements.
• Manage the automation suite to ensure complete test case coverage across functional, regression, and load testing.
• Collaborate with Product Owners and developers to define acceptance criteria.
• Plan regression cycles and produce quality artifacts to manage releases.
• Log, track, and verify defect fixes using Jira.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of direct experience in software quality assurance automation.
• 4+ years of experience testing front end, back end, and web services.
• 4+ years of experience scripting in test automation frameworks.
• Proficiency in Java.
• Experience with automated testing using Cucumber and Selenium.
• Knowledge of BDD, TDD, and Gherkin specifications.
• Experience with manual and automated testing of REST and SOAP web services.
• Experience working in cloud-based models like GCP, AWS, or Azure.
• Strong understanding of the SDLC and software testing practices including API and UI testing.

Preferred Skills

• 3+ years of experience with database tools such as Oracle, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or SQL Developer.
