Description

You will own the automated testing strategy and execution for the Open Video OTT platform, ensuring software quality through rigorous validation of Android applications.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Develop, execute, and maintain automated test cases for Android platforms using Appium, Selenium, and Webdriver.io.
• Review system specifications to define test requirements and optimize testing processes for efficiency.
• Identify, document, and track defects using JIRA, collaborating with developers to verify fixes.
• Conduct functional, regression, and performance testing, including post-release validation and troubleshooting.
• Prepare test reports and provide insights on product reliability to cross-functional teams.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in QA automation, with specific hands-on experience testing Android platforms.
• Proficiency in Java development and test automation frameworks (Appium, Selenium, Webdriver.io).
• Strong experience with version control (Git), CI/CD tools (Jenkins), and issue tracking (JIRA).
• Knowledge of debugging tools including Android Studio, Charles Proxy, and ADB logcat.
• Experience working in Agile environments with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective documentation and reporting.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Spring Boot.
• Knowledge of Android TV development.
