Description

You will design and execute automated testing strategies for heavy traffic e-commerce applications and cloud migration projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop automated test suites using Java, JavaScript, Selenium WebDriver, and Cucumber/Gherkin.
• Validate API automation and JMS driven messaging protocols including AMQ, RabbitMQ, and Kafka.
• Perform data validation using SQL queries and Couchbase database querying.
• Verify non-functional requirements and application performance during on-prem to cloud migrations.
• Track defects and manage testing workflows within JIRA.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of coding experience in Java and JavaScript.
• 7+ years of industry experience, ideally in Agile environments.
• Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver, NodeJS, and Cucumber/Gherkin.
• Proficiency with Git and source control versioning processes.
• Experience testing Service Oriented Architecture and JMS protocols (AMQ, RabbitMQ, Kafka).
• Experience with CI/CD processes, specifically Jenkins or JenkinsX.
• Ability to write SQL queries for test data preparation and validation.
• Experience validating applications migrating from on-prem to Azure cloud infrastructure.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with SQL Server and SQL Server Management Studio.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes and container-based application deployment.
