Description

You will own end-to-end quality for the e-commerce platform, building and running the Playwright automation framework for UI and APIs without hand-holding.

You will build a framework from scratch, integrate it with CI/CD, and set up test cycles to ship with confidence. You will create clean reports and dashboards to track release health, identify testing gaps, and implement fixes.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain the Playwright TypeScript automation framework for UI and API testing.
• Integrate automation suites into CI/CD pipelines for continuous validation.
• Plan and execute test cycles, owning deadlines and release quality.
• Develop dashboards and reports to monitor release health and testing coverage.
• Identify gaps in current testing processes and implement improvements.

Required Skills

• 5+ years in QA, with at least 4 years focused on automation.
• Strong proficiency in Playwright with TypeScript.
• Proven experience with API automation.
• Experience building automation frameworks from scratch.
• Hands-on experience integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Background in the e-commerce or retail domain.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Agile methodologies.
• Ability to work autonomously without hand-holding.
