Perform advanced testing and analysis of production systems through the full software development lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Design, document, and execute load, stress, and performance testing to identify technical and functional failure points.
- Develop, validate, and execute test plans and scripts covering unit, regression, integration, and functionality testing.
- Automate functionality testing to ensure applications meet business requirements and functional specifications.
- Analyze performance test results to identify bottlenecks and recommend configuration changes.
- Document test status, outcomes, and metrics while recording bugs using automated tracking tools.
Required Skills
- 5+ years of experience in quality assurance processes and techniques.
- Proficiency in SQL for creating complex queries.
- Experience with functionality testing using HP Quick Test Professional (QTP) or Unified Functional Testing (UFT).
- Proficiency in VB scripting languages.
- Experience implementing, upgrading, and maintaining QA processes over the software lifecycle.
- Knowledge of Information Security best practices and related testing.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with performance testing using HP LoadRunner.
- Experience with PeopleSoft HRM, Benefits Administration, and Financials.
- Quality assurance certifications such as SQA or CSQA.
