Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks for UI, API, and performance testing
• Write and execute automated test scripts using tools like Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or Appium
• Develop and maintain API test automation using Rest Assured, Postman, or Karate
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI)
• Lead test strategy and planning — defining scope, approach, and coverage for complex features
• Conduct code reviews for test scripts and mentor junior QA engineers
• Perform performance and load testing using JMeter, Gatling, or k6
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and DevOps teams to ensure shift-left testing practices
• Track and report test coverage, defect metrics, and quality KPIs to stakeholders
• Drive continuous improvement in QA processes, tools, and best practices
