Description

You own the end-to-end quality for Nutanix Data Services for Kubernetes (NDK) Product.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts to validate NDK system and performance under Prism Central services.
• Develop test automation framework(s) using Python and implement required API services to simulate end-to-end workflow tests for Stress, Scale, and Performance.
• Design and implement logging, monitoring, and observability solutions using Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/EFK stack, Jaeger, and AlertManager.
• Execute both manual and automated tests to ensure infrastructure service precision and dependability.
• Identify, document, and track defects until resolution while mentoring junior engineers and establishing best automation practices.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in a testing role.
• Strong programming experience for Test Automation using Python or Java.
• Experience in developing clean, maintainable automated tests for REST API and server components.
• Hands-on experience with testing tools including Postman and Jmeter.
• Experience in test case automation, regression execution, system testing, performance testing, and integration testing.
• Experience in distributed systems, HCI, Kubernetes, or microservices.
• Experience working and troubleshooting in a Linux environment.
• Experience with Scale, System, and Performance Testing in a testbed environment.
• Experience debugging and troubleshooting system issues (CPU, Memory, Network, Storage).
