Description

Design, build, and improve automation frameworks for UI and API testing.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement automation frameworks using modern standards to test UI and APIs.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts and QA teams to translate business requirements into technical test plans.
• Identify and execute continuous improvements for test development practices.
• Perform debugging, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis for identified defects.
• Prepare and manage test data and mocking strategies for services.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in QA or SDET roles.
• Experience testing and automating APIs using Postman and SoapUI.
• Hands-on experience with DevOps CI/CD pipelines including Azure, AWS, Jenkins, Maven, or GitLab.
• Proficiency with test management tools such as Zephyr, ALM, or X-ray.
• Strong knowledge of Jira and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Experience writing test plans, test cases, and test summary reports.
• Practical experience with end-to-end testing and test data preparation.
• Understanding of Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Behavior-Driven Development (BDD).

Preferred Skills

• Mainframe experience including green screen navigation, VSAM lookups, and JCL jobs.
