Description

You will validate serverless workflows, API integrations, and distributed microservices in a brokerage environment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automation frameworks using Selenium or Playwright with Java and Python.
• Execute API automation testing for REST/SOAP services using REST Assured, Postman, or Karate.
• Validate serverless architectures and event-driven systems involving AWS Lambda, SQS, SNS, and Step Functions.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and troubleshoot distributed applications using CloudWatch.
• Analyze logs and trace requests across microservices, Kafka queues, and third-party vendor integrations.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of QA experience, specifically within the brokerage or financial domain.
• 3+ years of hands-on automation programming with Python and/or Java.
• Strong knowledge of AWS services: Lambda, API Gateway, SQS, SNS, Step Functions, DynamoDB, CloudWatch, S3, and EventBridge.
• Experience testing asynchronous messaging platforms like Kafka.
• Proficiency with API testing tools: REST Assured, Postman, or Karate.
• Understanding of HTTP methods, REST principles, OAuth2, JWT, and contract-first development (OpenAPI/Swagger).
• AWS certification and hands-on cloud experience.
