Description

You design and execute automated testing strategies for web services, mainframe systems, and SQL databases in an Agile environment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop BDD tests, behaviors, and step definitions using Selenium and Java.
• Execute smoke, regression, sanity, usability, and functional testing for web services.
• Validate web services using SOAP and REST protocols via SOAP UI.
• Perform database testing with SQL and validate logs for events.
• Conduct mainframe green screen validation and data verification following batch cycles.

Required Skills

• Proficiency in Java for developing Selenium support code.
• Hands-on experience with SOAP UI for web service testing.
• Experience with SQL for database validation.
• Ability to perform testing on mainframe systems and green screen interfaces.
• Knowledge of BDD frameworks, including behaviors and step definitions.
• Experience working within Agile/Scrum project lifecycles.
• Ability to manage server upgrades for JDK versions and update Jar files in Artifactory.

Preferred Skills

• Experience identifying integration user stories and tasks during sprint planning.
• Ability to document test plans covering user profiles, configurations, environments, risks, and schedules.
