You will drive the software quality assurance lifecycle for web and mobile applications.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts to validate functionality and accuracy.
• Collaborate with development teams to establish test strategies and implement automation frameworks.
• Create comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test data based on requirement analysis.
• Monitor and automate testing processes to improve efficiency across Agile and Waterfall environments.
• Manage defect tracking, report bugs, and review tests executed by third-party automation teams.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance.
• Proficiency in functional, smoke, confirmation, regression, and UAT/Acceptance testing.
• Hands-on experience with Jira for executing, recording, and evaluating test results.
• Experience managing defects, generating reports, filters, and dashboards in Jira.
• Working knowledge of APIs, JSON, and XML.
• Experience with Confluence for documentation.
• Competency in using Putty, FTP file management, and remote connections.
• Ability to analyze log files and manage test data.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge or experience regarding Costa Rica tax reforms.
