5+ years in Software Testing / QA Automation, with strong hands-on experience in automation framework development and test strategy.

Key Skills

• Playwright + TypeScript – Web UI automation
• Appium + TypeScript – Windows desktop application test automation
• Strong experience in Test Automation Framework Design
• Experience designing reusable automation components, libraries, utilities, and coding standards
• Strong understanding and implementation of Page Object Model (POM) and BDD-based automation
• Experience with API Testing & Automation
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and GitHub Actions
• Ability to define automation strategy, test approach, and test plans
• Experience in Quality Strategy, Test Leadership, and Quality Governance
• Exposure to AI-Assisted Test Automation and Agentic QA
• Good understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks using Playwright and TypeScript.
• Develop automated test solutions for web applications and Windows desktop applications using appropriate automation tools such as Appium.
• Define and implement automation strategies aligned with product and quality objectives.
• Design reusable automation components, utilities, libraries, and coding standards.
• Establish and maintain POM and BDD-based automation practices.
• Integrate automated tests with CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
• Develop and maintain API automation suites.
• Identify opportunities to improve test coverage, execution efficiency, and overall quality.
• Define test plans, test scenarios, automation approach, and quality metrics.
• Contribute to quality strategy and provide technical guidance/leadership to QA teams.
• Explore and implement AI-assisted and agentic approaches to improve test automation and QA productivity.
• Work closely with developers, product owners, and other stakeholders in an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Drive continuous improvement in QA processes, automation standards, and quality governance
