Description

You will develop and execute manual functional tests for new or modified applications in a large-scale, relational database environment.

Responsibilities

• Create, modify, and execute manual functional test cases and test plans based on functional specifications.
• Document bugs and defects with relevant information for developer review.
• Collaborate with developers and cross-functional team members to perform retesting and defect closure.
• Maintain test data within test environments to satisfy specific test conditions.
• Provide concise status updates and test reports covering all testing activities.

Required Skills

• 4+ years of experience in enterprise-level software testing for web-based applications.
• 2+ years of experience implementing various quality assurance methodologies.
• Experience working within Waterfall and Agile software delivery frameworks.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and set priorities within a cross-functional team.
• High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience preferred.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of automation or performance QA tools such as QTP or LoadRunner.
• Experience with API testing tools like SoapUI.
• Knowledge of database concepts, including creating, modifying, and executing SQL queries.
• Experience in the Property and Casualty insurance industry.
