Description

Own the design, development, and maintenance of automated test scripts for web, API, and backend applications.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Build and enhance automation frameworks using Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, JUnit, and Cucumber (BDD).
• Develop and execute API automation using Postman and/or Rest Assured.
• Execute functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing; validate outcomes and document results.
• Identify, document, track, and verify software defects; analyze test results and recommend improvements.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Git-based version control.

Required Skills

• 6-10 years of relevant QA automation testing experience.
• Proficiency in Java or Python for automation scripting.
• Strong hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver for web UI automation.
• Experience with API testing tools such as Postman and Rest Assured.
• Solid understanding of SQL for database validation.
• Experience integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines, specifically Jenkins.
• Knowledge of SDLC/STLC and defect life cycle management.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with automated testing approaches and tooling beyond core automation.
