Own the test strategy and automation framework for software releases, blending manual and automated execution to ensure quality across complex banking systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain comprehensive test plans, decomposing business and technical requirements into actionable test case scenarios.
• Create, execute, and maintain automation scripts using Python and Robot Framework to validate application functionality.
• Oversee test runs, manage defect lifecycles in Jira Align, and report metrics to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with development teams to isolate defects, optimize testing processes, and resolve issues in testing environments.
• Formulate contingency plans and manage test data requirements for regression and end-to-end system testing.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of software testing experience with a strong emphasis on automation.
• 6+ years of hands-on experience with test automation suites, specifically Robot Framework.
• Proficiency in Python for scripting and automation logic.
• Experience with Visual Studio Code and the Robot Framework Language Server extension.
• Strong understanding of web-enabling technologies, including web enterprise servers, SQL databases, and client/server development.
• Experience with source code control using Git and GitLab.
• Familiarity with defect tracking tools such as Jira Align.
• Bachelor's degree in a computer-related field or equivalent practical experience.

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to Java technologies, web services, stored procedures, and middle-tier applications.
• Experience with virtual environments.
