Description

You will own backend and API testing to ensure service reliability and seamless integration.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute automated tests for backend services and APIs.
• Perform API, contract, and integration testing using Postman, Pact, and RestAssured.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define test strategies covering functional, security, and performance requirements.
• Utilize Jenkins and DevOps practices to support CI/CD pipelines.
• Manage test cases and defects using Jira and Xray within an Agile environment.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in backend and API testing.
• Hands-on experience with Postman, RestAssured, and Pact.
• Proficiency in scripting with JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins.
• Proficiency with Jira and Xray for test and defect management.
• Experience applying BDD, TDD, and ATDD approaches in Agile environments.
• Any Graduate degree.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of Amazon AWS cloud technologies.
• Experience with Playwright and PactumJS.
