Description

You will design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for Mainframe applications, ensuring the integrity of batch and online systems.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Execute functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing for Mainframe environments.
• Validate backend data and job outcomes using DB2/SQL queries, JCL batch jobs, and CICS transactions.
• Analyze business requirements to create test scenarios, cases, and data.
• Identify, log, track, and verify defects using management tools.
• Support automation execution and integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of experience in Mainframe application testing and test automation.
• Strong proficiency in COBOL, JCL, CICS, VSAM, and DB2.
• Hands-on experience with SQL queries for backend data validation.
• Proven track record in test automation framework development and execution.
• Experience with CI/CD pipeline integration for automation testing.
• Ability to create and maintain comprehensive test cases and scenarios.

Preferred Skills

• B.E., B.Tech, MCA, or equivalent technical degree.
• Experience with defect management tools and collaborative issue resolution.
