Description

Own quality assurance for development sprints, bridging gaps between Development, Product Design, and Product Management.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Act as quality advisor to Product Managers and Engineers, identifying gaps, edge cases, and risks in user stories and requirements.
• Design and maintain detailed test cases in Azure Test Plans for functional, regression, and integration testing.
• Develop and maintain end-to-end UI automation tests using Playwright with TypeScript or JavaScript.
• Raise detailed bug tickets with steps to reproduce, expected vs. actual results, and screenshots/logs.
• Prepare UAT test cases for the business team and support UAT execution, providing QA sign-off during deployments.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in QA, combining manual and automation testing.
• Hands-on experience with UI automation frameworks, specifically Playwright.
• Proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript for writing automation scripts.
• Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies.
• Proficient in writing test cases and managing test plans in Azure DevOps.
• Experience with load and performance testing tools, such as JMeter.
• Ability to think critically and anticipate edge cases beyond acceptance criteria.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and integration of automated tests into build processes.
• Domain skills in Point of Sale (POS) systems.
